Analytical Services
Our Analytical Services consists of a wide range of advanced mass spectrometry techniques. Mass spectrometry (MS) is an analytical technique used to measure the mass-to-charge (m/z) ratio of ions for qualitative and quantitative determinations. Whether your analyte is a purified substance or embedded in a complex mixture, a MS service can be chosen to provide the appropriate level of quality needed for your project (see Choosing a Method). With a wide variety of inlet and analyzer configurations, MS can provide information ranging from elemental composition (exact mass) to detailed structural information. In the field of proteomics, it is commonly employed to determine intact mass measurements, protein identifications, and structural characteristics (see Proteomic Services).
Unit Resolution Mass Spectrometry
Unit Resolution LC Mass Spectrometry Analysis [AS-ILC-URQ]
This analytical service couples an ultra-performance liquid chromatograph to a triple-quadrupole mass spectrometer for efficient separation and quantitative determinations for the analyte of interest.
Unit Resolution GC Mass Spectrometry Analysis [AS-IGC-URQ]
This analytical service is the same as [AS-ILC-URQ] but couples to a gas chromatograph for efficient separation and quantitative determinations for small uncharged analytes of interest.
Unit Resolution GC Mass Spectrometry Analysis [AS-IGC-URI]
This analytical service is the same as [AS-IGC-URQ] but couples a gas chromatograph to an ion trap mass spectrometer for efficient separation and quantitative determinations of low molecular weight non-polar molecules.
High Resolution Mass Spectrometry
High Resolution LC Mass Spectrometry Analysis [AS-ILC-HRT]
This advanced proteomic service couples an ultra-performance liquid chromatograph to a high resolution mass spectrometer for the efficient separation and characterization of an organic molecule. This assay may be used to provide elemental composition, molecular concentration, or advanced structural information. The detail of the final deliverables should be established prior to the commencement of work.
High Resolution GC Mass Spectrometry Analysis [AS-IGC-HRT]
This advanced proteomic service is the same [AS-ILC-HRT] but couples a gas chromatograph to a high resolution mass spectrometer for the efficient separation and characterization of an organic molecule. This assay may be used to provide elemental composition, molecular concentration, or advanced structural information. The detail of the final deliverables should be established prior to the commencement of work.
